and EVO select Yokohama for Global OE fitments |

YSA is pleased to announce that
globally, Mercedes-Benz A.G. and Mitsubishi Motor Corp. have
approved Yokohama Advan ultra-high-performance tyres for original
equipment (OE) fitment on certain AMG and Lancer Evo sport-tuned
models, respectively.
The announcement, made earlier this month by Yokohama Rubber
Co. Ltd. (YRC), states that Mercedes has approved Advan Sport
UHP radials for its CL63 AMG, CL65 AMG and ML63 AMG sport-tuned
versions of the carmaker’s CL-class luxury coupe and
ML-class premium sport-utility vehicles.
Says Anton Wessels, Sales Executive at Yokohama South Africa:
“It is very rewarding to see that more and more hi-performance
car manufacturers are selecting Yokohama as their preferred
original equipment tyres to launch their vehicles with.”
Sizes offered will be 255/35ZR20 XL for the front and 275/35ZR20
XL for the rear of both the CL65 AMG and CL63 AMG. For the
front and rear of the ML63 AMG, the size offered is 295/40ZR20
106Y.
Mitsubishi picked Advan A13C tyres in size 245/40R18 93Y for
all models of the Lancer Evo and also announced a Geolander
fitment on its Pajero Models. |
