AVS dB has two types of tread pattern design, The V550 or
V500, depending an the tyre size and speed rating. The
new "Decibel Pattern" found in the AVS dB tread
pattern features the following functions to realize its

Finely tuned based on Yokohama's latest simulation technologies
and minimizes hammering noise, the key factor in noise
generated by the tyre tread. B. Small blocks:
Well calibrated to avoid uneven wear and helps to
minimize noises generated by tyre wear. |
C. 4 straight wide grooves:
Drains water effectively in order to avoid aquaplaning at
high speeds and realizes extreme wet performance in conjunction
with a Silica tread compound featuring ZERUMA*, Yokohama's
original processing agent to disperse Silica. |
